Align my soul to my body and my life

Align my soul to my body and my life – and let me dissolve into the Nirvana away from the carnal bliss.

One for the beloved

The special someone, one for the beloved – the moments of rites and rituals. You just cant get away without it.
It comes from ur inner self to raise faith and worship any rituals. A very delightful spotting of a so common marigold flower at the edge of a ritual site.

Green Carpet

A wallpaper capture (no edit), spread green grass was a perfect carpet for a off center weighted spot metering and center focus and to evaluate if we could see a visually attractive wonderland naturistic landscape.

GreenLand with horses

The soccer ground without real footballers. And ideally a real fun would be sleeping overnight on a ground with the green carpet like this (make it a camping ground) and may be even enjoying the stargazing on a open sky such as this. The most exciting things come in wonderful places with wonderful people. Wish this gets really accessible place for nomads. Its way to far at Pahalgham and called as the Mini Switzerland. The plateau at the top of the mountain range.

Top View

Wonder view of a blooming City scape – the city of skyscrapers. This picture was taken from the Signature Room at the 95th floor – that place where we had gone for brunch with an exciting view of the city, atop the John Hancock center.

Serene Kashmir

A very scenic view, every tourist to Kashmir’s must watch is the Dal Lake. The true Srinagari Kashmiri shall share about how most of their time spent on this lake makes their life richer, better and worth a memory. Its rick with culture, heritage, customs, traditions, lifestyle, and market place inside the lake. They have their floating farmlands, with day to day commuting on Shikara from their home within their -partially rented out as hotel- houseboats. Also their daily life how they manage schooling their kids to managing their business and moving between downtown market for fulfilling their basic necessities.

Fishing Out

One our way to Pahalgham, Martand temple at Mattan near Anantnag – there was this “SURYA TEMPLE”, a huge bunch of army personnel and tightened security – ruined the hopes of people praying for peace. This area was deserted with very limited sets of people (mix of hindu and muslims) loitering around the temple. Very few people with limited activity. The place seemed to have lost its charm. Peace in the air was evident, silence in the temple was prevailing. But all I feared was the peace in their minds. I was striving and searching eyes to see if I could find glee in their eyes, but all in vain. People were heavy hearted – leading their life. Really in anticipation of tourists to make them survive their bread and butter.
And thats where I made a small shopkeeper earn some bucks – while I fed these fishes.

Stand out

The rule of 1/3rd and 2/3rds while taking a picture perfectly gets reinstated in this example, a blanket of green meadow and a plateau on the heights of Kashmir at Pahalgham. A giant sleeping on this carpet would never wake up. Its a heaven in itself.

Trump Tower Chicago

One of the toughest time I had was to capture the Trump Tower at Chicago (just bang opposite my stay at Hotel 71) – using my 18-55 mm lens. I tried a lot of angles to manage doing the wide angle zoom enough to handle the telephoto lens to capture it – but all in vain. The maximum I could do was to take a tilt shift approach by framing the trump tower into a diagonal north west or north east frame orientation. But still, some how those pics were also not the best of the amazing shots I wanted to click. They were just so ordinary. I later happened to borrow a 15mm fish eye lens from Simon Kirby, one of my colleagues at Hostway. Whom I met at our Developer conference in Chicago. His lens managed to do it just in a jiffy. The framing was perfect. The picture quality was perfect too – and the tower just scaled to fit inside my photo. What a sigh of relief.

A real large description of this is available at this link :Trump Tower Chicago

Watch my back

All the buildings are a must watch, these are really well appreciated architecture buildings, carved with precision and accuracy to make a wonderful face to uplift the status of a skyline city scape. Chicago has a really great list of well known tall towers. A few not so large famous buildings are also worth looking at.

Common view for every Satellite driver

Most of the people would love this ariel view to generally avoid the fear of heights or to celebrate the success of reaching heights. This is really a common view for every Satellite driver. I had taken this picture while at Detroit downtown, when I was watching the landscape from the highrise tower building (General Motor building) and on the opposite side I could see Canada.

Rest when you reach here

My most fascinating idea has ever been like capturing the empty bench – it always reminds me of a place where romance begins and ends. Rest when you reach here.
