Smooth trails are not meant for me

Life is never so easy and smooth, only few people get the privilege to walk on such smooth roads for life time.

Round the curve

Taking rounds of SOBO makes a wonderful experience. The lanes around the Hanging gardens has a wonderful exit going downwards.
Watch the streets of Mumbai and the scenic road with the tree-spread.

Top View

Wonder view of a blooming City scape – the city of skyscrapers. This picture was taken from the Signature Room at the 95th floor – that place where we had gone for brunch with an exciting view of the city, atop the John Hancock center.

Serene Kashmir

A very scenic view, every tourist to Kashmir’s must watch is the Dal Lake. The true Srinagari Kashmiri shall share about how most of their time spent on this lake makes their life richer, better and worth a memory. Its rick with culture, heritage, customs, traditions, lifestyle, and market place inside the lake. They have their floating farmlands, with day to day commuting on Shikara from their home within their -partially rented out as hotel- houseboats. Also their daily life how they manage schooling their kids to managing their business and moving between downtown market for fulfilling their basic necessities.

Resting again

Most of my travel shots, should comprise of a solo bench, I fantasy such romantic hotspots. A single bench on a green carpet, definitely invites good memories for tons of romantic couples. Some sweet memories, some bitter ones, some wild memories, some hotter too.

Why does my heart sing

Shikara ride – a lifestyle – a culture – a mode of transport – a means of living the bread and butter – a RBC and WBC of Kashmiri’s regular blood stream. A common man would definitely have nothing else but to hmmmm along the regular day in his life across this Dal Lake, Srinagar, Kashmir.

Blurry way ahead

This was an evening at Srinagar while we were doing the Dal Lake trip on a Shikara and I was unable to decide if i should capture a photo or wait for the rains to stop. It started raining suddenly and all I could visualize was a wonderful scenic frame to capture. I had some preset manual configs on the camera and somehow managed to take this shot with a low shutter speed, high aperture and a non tripod shot :| – the best I could get was a blurry shot which shows a lot of drama in the story line. The whole motion makes it more exciting and chaotic, more ghostly and really turbulent. Comments appreciated.

Walking zone

While walking from the Hotel 71 towards the Lake Shore drive, along the river side walk which leads towards a beach front. I found this location which was joggers track, calm peaceful road to walk. A stranger couple was passing by. A wonderful walking zone.

Curves from the beaches

Top view of the Chicago Michigan Lake – seems like a beach with curves :) . An aerial view with an exciting crowd hugging the festival season – makes it even more better. There was an Air show happening that day. The most I could do is capture these curves from the top view.

Common view for every Satellite driver

Most of the people would love this ariel view to generally avoid the fear of heights or to celebrate the success of reaching heights. This is really a common view for every Satellite driver. I had taken this picture while at Detroit downtown, when I was watching the landscape from the highrise tower building (General Motor building) and on the opposite side I could see Canada.

Rest when you reach here

My most fascinating idea has ever been like capturing the empty bench – it always reminds me of a place where romance begins and ends. Rest when you reach here.

While the sun rises and the time zone changes

For all those frequent travelers flying across oceans would be familiar while they are awake on an over night flight.
I have always wanted to capture the beauty of nature, this is a night shot of the view from my airplane window. It showed a wonderful tinge of tungsten-blue-yellow-fire-orange-flame and many more shades of fire while on low burner.
It was a really wonderful view. While the sun rises and the time zone changes.
